Easy Side Salads That Go With Any Meal

The ever versatile side salad is the perfect vehicle for your favorite vegetables, proteins, toppings and dressings. Enjoy it as is or add a protein and starch to the salad for a full meal.
Simple Side Salad Recipe
1 large head of lettuce (we used green leaf), about 4-6 cups
6 campari tomatoes, sliced in half
1 peeled and sliced cucumber
⅓ cup sliced red onion
1 carrot, shaved into ribbons
2-3 tablespoons Primal Kitchen Ranch Dressing
Shredded Chicken or sliced steak
Other topping ideas
Chop or tear your favorite lettuce and wash well.
Assemble all ingredients together in a bowl.
Pour the ranch dressing or your other favorite dressing and toss to combine.
