You get all the vitamins and minerals in pumpkin, plus the crispy, golden-brown exterior and soft insides of a classic steak fry. It's a win-win! These spicy turmeric pumpkin fries are unbelievably delicious and a great switch from basic potatoes. Coated in savory spices and baked in the oven until golden brown, they serve as tasty appetizers, game-day treats, or weeknight pick-me-ups after a long day at work or caring for the kiddos.
Ingredients
Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Slice the pumpkin into thin pieces. Place the pumpkin slices in a dark-colored bowl and toss with turmeric, salt, and Primal Kitchen Avocado Oil.
Line a tray with parchment paper. Place the fries onto the parchment paper in a single layer, leaving room in-between each fry.
Bake for 25 minutes or until cooked through and crispy.
Serve with Primal Kitchen Chipotle Lime Mayo for dipping.
