No-Dairy, Gluten-Free Mac and Cheese

This dairy-free, vegan and gluten-free mac and cheese comes together in a snap and can be made in one pot. The sauce is creamy and delicious on its own but you can also add in the optional spices for a little extra kick. Use your favorite pasta type and shape - we love shells for mac and cheese because it holds all of the delicious sauce.

Rated 3.6 stars by 162 users Lunch 4 5 minutes 15 minutes 314 8 ounces gluten-free pasta (we used Banza brand) 1 jar Primal Kitchen No Dairy Cheddar Cheez Style Sauce ¼ cup reserved pasta water ½ teaspoon onion powder (optional) ¼ teaspoon black pepper (optional) ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional) Salt to taste Prepare your pasta according to package instructions. When draining the pasta, save about ¼ cup of the pasta water. Heat the Cheez Sauce in a saucepan on your stovetop over medium heat and whisk in the black pepper, onion powder and paprika if you are using them. Once hot, pour in the pasta and fold it into the sauce along with the pasta water. Stir until thickened, then remove the saucepan from the heat and season with salt to taste.
