Chicken wings are a go-to snack for game days, parties, and even fun family nights. This tasty take on the sports bar staple is air-fried rather than deep-fried and coated with our delicious no-soy Teriyaki Sauce & Marinade for classic wings with less grease and more sweet teriyaki flavor. Use our Air Fryer Spray Oil to add flavor before frying!
Ingredients
Directions
Season chicken wings with salt. Spritz with Primal Kitchen Air Fryer Spray or Avocado Oil Spray.
Air fry at 400ºF for 25 minutes. Meanwhile, chop 2 green onions finely.
Place sesame seeds in a small frying pan on medium heat, and stir for a couple minutes until toasted. (Take care not to burn the seeds—they can quickly go from light brown to burned in a few seconds.)
Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Once the wings are done, put them in the skillet and pour enough teriyaki sauce on top to coat.
Toss wings around to get them fully covered. Keep tossing in the sauce until it all sticks to the wings.
Remove from skillet. Sprinkle with green onion and toasted sesame seeds. Serve and enjoy!

The good news for anyone living a Primal, keto, or Paleo lifestyle is that chicken wings can be a tasty snack, starter, or even main dish. The downside is that wings only fit into these plans if you don’t deep fry them in refined oils or coat them in sugary sauces—which many restaurants do.
While you could try to satisfy your chicken wing craving with basic salt-and-pepper ones, they don't quite meet (or should we say "meat") the standard for great pub wings. Here's the solution: Our No-Soy Teriyaki gives all the sweet teriyaki vibes without all the added sugar or artificial sweeteners. If you're craving a true sticky-sweet experience and you're not on strict keto, you can also sub in our new Thick & Sticky Teriyaki Sauce & Marinade.
What about the frying? Baking your wings can dry out the interior meat on the interior before the skin gets a chance to crisp up. Air frying provides the perfect middle-ground solution: You get crispy skin on the outside without the oil bath, and the meat inside stays moist and tender.
