EQUIPMENT
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400°F (205°C). Lightly spritz the wells of the cakelet pan with avocado oil spray.
- Gently roll or stretch each pizza dough into a square approximately 12 x 12 inches. Cut each into 3 equal strips.
- Place one strip of pizza dough in each well of the cakelet pan so that about ⅔ of the strip lines the skull and ⅓ hangs over the edge. Gently press the dough into the well, then trim off the excess, making sure the dough inside each well reaches the top. Set these excess pieces aside to use in Step 7.
Place a generous pinch (about 1½ tablespoons) of shredded cheese inside each skull. Spoon 2 Tbsp marinara sauce over the cheese, followed by a second layer of cheese.
Arrange 4 pepperoni slices inside each skull, then sprinkle the remaining cheese over the pepperoni.
- Use the excess dough from Step 4 to cover the filling. Gently pinch the edges of each skull shut and brush the tops with melted butter.
- Place in the oven and bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and carefully remove the skulls from the pan. Arrange on a serving platter with ramekins of ranch dressing and marinara sauce for dipping.
