Keto Collagen Smoothies

 

One of the quickest and easiest ways to make sure you're getting in the nutrition you need is to make smoothies. Easily digestible and simple to make, these four recipes take the guesswork out of pre and post-workout meals and early morning breakfasts. 

Keto? No problem! We've got you covered with these four heavenly smoothies. High in beneficial fats, protein, and antioxidants, all four primal combinations are low carb and absolutely dreamy. 

 

 

Keto Cacao Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1–1¼ cups full-fat coconut milk
  • ½ frozen avocado
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • 2 tablespoons cacao powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon chia seeds, (soak in 2 tablespoons of water for 10 min)
  • 2 scoops Primal Kitchen® Collagen Peptides 
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • ½ cup ice
  • Optional toppings: cacao nibs, cinnamon, raspberries
  • ¼ cup water, if needed


Instructions

  • Add the ingredients to the blender, and blend until smooth.
  • Top with cacao nibs, cinnamon, and raspberries.
  • Enjoy!

 



Green Avocado Smoothie

Ingredients 

  •  1 medium-sized avocado (pit removed)
  • • ¾ cup spinach
  • • ½ cup full fat coconut milk
  • • ½ cup ice
  • • 1 tsp unsweetened vanilla extract
  • • 1 tbsp MCT oil
  • • 1 teaspoon maca
  • • 1 tablespoon honey
  • • 2 scoops Primal Kitchen® Collagen Peptides 


Instructions

  • Halve the avocado and remove the pit.
  • Place everything in a blender.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Enjoy!

 



Rocket Fuel Chocolate Breakfast Shake

Instructions

  • 1 can full fat coconut milk
  • 1 small avocado (pit removed)
  • 2 scoops Primal Kitchen® Collagen Peptides  
  • 2 tablespoons cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon MCT oil
  • ½ cup ice cubes
  • ½ cup cherries (pits removed) or raspberries
  • Pinch of finely ground Himalayan rock salt, optional
  • Toppings: Cacao nibs


Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a blender.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Enjoy!

 

 

Coconut Cacao Maca Smoothie 

Ingredients 

  • 4 oz full fat coconut milk 
  • 1-2 tbsp coconut MCT oil or ghee
  • 6-8 oz unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon maca powder 
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon almond butter
  • 2 scoops Primal Kitchen® Collagen Peptides
  • Optional sweetener: 1/4 cup raspberries, dash of cinnamon, or 1/2 teaspoon maple syrup

Instructions

  • Place the ingredients in a blender.
  • Blend together until smooth. 
  • Enjoy!
