Ingredients
-
1 jar Primal Kitchen Tomato Basil Marinara Sauce
- 8-ounce log of goat cheese
1 small bunch fresh basil, leaves chopped
- Coarse salt
-
1 jar Primal Kitchen Roasted Garlic Marinara Sauce
Alternate Ingredient
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
Pour marinara sauce into an oven-safe baking dish (see Recipe Notes).
Slice goat cheese into 6 to 8 equal rounds depending on the size of your dish. You want the goat cheese to cover most of the sauce, but they don’t need to touch. Arrange goat cheese on top of the sauce.
Bake for about 25 minutes or until cheese is slightly browned and sauce is bubbling. Optionally, turn on the broiler for a minute to brown the top a bit more.
Carefully remove from the oven. Top with basil and a sprinkle of coarse salt. Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
