Great way to increase collagen intake

I really like the taste, and this is a convenient way to get more collagen into my diet. Also, it gives me more options for use than bone broth - by itself or in coffee or smoothies, etc. Would give it five stars except it tends to clump when trying to mix in plain water (even in a blender).

Best Protein Powder!

Amazing flavor. Dissolves completely. No gritty texture. I hate the taste of whey so when I found this product I had to try it. I use it in smoothies and I’m hooked for life.

Really works

I’ve been using my collagen for 2 weeks now, and I have to say I’ve seen results with my joints. I’ve felt less pain, I’m not saying this product is curable but that it has helped and seen a difference. It’s also deelish, I drink it with my smoothie or add it to my oatmeal.

I’ve been loving the Collagen fuel! Not only does it taste delicious, but it’s been helping my gut. I love that it has 10 grams of protein per scoop and it’s low in carb. I put it in my lattes, shakes and oatmeal. The consistency is great! I’ve already recommended it to family and friends.

Love it!

This is the best-tasting collagen/ protein I have ever tasted. I have to use a hand blender to get all the clumps mixed, but it’s worth it!

Frequently Asked Questions

What the heck is collagen?

Collagen is the protein that holds everything in your body together. It makes up about 30% of all the protein in the human body, and is found in your bones, tendons, ligaments, connective tissues and skin, and plays various roles in your overall health. Collagen production naturally declines with age, reducing the structural integrity of the skin and instigating the weakening of cartilage in joints. You can help make up for decreased collagen production by eating collagen sourced from grass-fed bovines pasture-raised in Brazil.

Why should I eat collagen?

Most, if not all of us, would benefit from some supplementation just for the unmet maintenance needs of connective tissue as well as skin and hair. Add to this the additional recovery related to heavy exercise, and you can see how athletes may require additional supplement support. Collagen is essential for the day-to-day repair involved in exercise recovery, even for those of us who aren’t professional caliber or endurance athletes.. Whether we’re runners or yoga practitioners, collagen helps keep joints, tendons and ligaments healthy to maintain the flexibility and mobility we need. Finally, supplementary collagen is an essential tool for maintaining the vibrancy of our skin and the strength of both hair and nails.

Where does your collagen come from?

We partnered with one of the world's leading collagen suppliers for our collagen peptides. They are a European company that sources collagen from grass-fed cows in both Germany and Brazil. They have conducted extensive clinical studies on the benefits of their exact collagen, which is superior to other collagen brands on the market due to their unique manufacturing process.

Are the cows responsible for rainforest destruction in Brazil?

The cows are feeding on "off forest" land to prevent destruction of the rainforest. In the past decade, virtually all slaughterhouses have followed the lead of the top three meat producers in conducting only off forest feeding. Additionally, our supplier has signed the G-4 agreement that was initiated by Greenpeace to ensure that no new rainforest impact is created based on intensive monitoring and requirements of the G-4 agreement.

What is hydrolyzed collagen?

Hydrolyzed collagen is also called collagen peptides or collagen hydrolysate. The collagen has undergone a process of hydrolysis (separating the molecular bonds between collagen strands with an acid, like lime or enzymes) to reduce the protein into smaller peptides, which renders it more readily bioavailable. The more bioavailable it is, the better the body is able to absorb it. The amino acid content of collagen is the same as that of hydrolyzed collagen. Most clinical studies on the benefits of collagen have been conducted using hydrolyzed collagen peptides. Collagen hydrolysate has the same amino acids (and health benefits) as gelatin but different chemical properties. Some people may find collagen hydrolysate easier to digest.

What is monk fruit?

Also called Luo Han Goa, monk fruit is a Chinese herb cultivated for centuries by Buddhist monks. Much like stevia, it’s a delicious and natural way to sweeten without all the calories of sugar.

What is konjac root?

Konjac is derived from the root of the konjac plant. It is a soluble and fermentable dietary fiber.

How many servings are there per canister?

There are 21 delicious servings in each canister of Primal Fuel.
