Air Fryer Teriyaki Chicken Wings and Drumsticks
April 12, 2019
Chicken wings and drumsticks are as Primal, paleo, keto, carnivore and even Whole30 as you can get—but that’s if you don’t deep fry them in refined oil or coat them in sugary sauces. Sure, baked salt-and-peppered chicken wings and drumsticks do the job, but that’s no fun.
We wanted to create a version of teriyaki chicken wings that are reminiscent of the saucy, moist-on-the-inside, slightly-crisp-on-the-outside wings you can find at nearly any happy hour or sports bar. Baking wings can dry out the meat on the interior before the skin on the outside gets a chance to crisp up.

Air Fryer Chicken Wings & Drumsticks
The AirFryer provides the perfect middle-ground solution: You get crispy skin on the outside without coating your kitchen in oil stains, and the meat inside stays moist and tender.
Simply pop the wings and drumsticks in the AirFryer for 25 minutes, remove and toss with the sauce of your choice—we chose Primal Kitchen No Soy Teriyaki Sauce for these, but our Primal Kitchen BBQ Sauce would also be delish. If you want a classic spicy wing sauce that’s Primal/paleo, keto and Whole30, check out our easy recipe for Keto Buffalo Chicken Wings.
